After facing the reunion, it seemed almost impossible that the TomTom co-owner’s former friends would agree to film with him next season. Even his best friend and business partner Tom Schwartz admitted that he wanted to distance himself from the scandalous drama.
“It’s so messed up,” Schwartz said on the June 12 episode of the Fox reality show. Stars on Mars. “It seems like every time I try to weigh in or talk about it, fuss about it, drive on, it inevitably feels like I’m somehow justifying it or making excuses for it, and I’m not. Because there’s just no excuse for it.”
“I haven’t had a relationship,” Schwartz added. “I’m not him. It’s so weird that I’m absolutely immersed in it. It’s almost taken on a life of its own. And after this, I’m going to walk away from it forever.”
