The angels Super star Shohei Ohtani was visibly frustrated in the dugout on Saturday during the team’s loss against The pirates.
Ohtani was held hitless during the 3-0 loss, and after a disappointing outing during the game, the slugger could be seen taking out his frustrations on some of his gear.
After removing the elbow pad and slamming it to the ground, Ohtani proceeded to break the helmet. However, things did not go to plan and the 29-year-old ended up taking a shot that ricocheted off his ear.
It was an unorthodox sight for the usually cool-headed Ohtani, who proceeded to take his belongings and place them in his cubbies.

Ohtani went 0-for-4 in the loss against Pittsburgh, striking out in three of his four plate appearances. His inability to get on base caused him to temporarily lose his cool, though he was seen smiling in the dugout later in the game.
The loss drops Anaheim to 50-49 and certainly won’t help quell the trade rumors involving their two-way sensation.
