Who is Bronny James?
Bronny, the oldest son of NBA champion LeBron and Savannah James, followed in his father’s footsteps as a basketball standout, playing on his high school team all four years at Sierra Canyon in Southern California. He has two younger siblings Bryce James16, and Dear James8.
Now, ahead of his freshman year at USC, the 18-year-old is projected to be a top contender for the 2024 NBA draft.
“I always believe in myself,” he told reporters after competing in April’s Nike Hoop Summit practices. “I try to keep a healthy mindset about myself. But I have goals. I know other people have goals. Whatever the decision is, it is what it is, but I’m happy with the outcome.”
Bronny also noted that despite his desire, he is always working on his faith.
“I just want to show that I belong and what I can do,” he continued. “Just play my game, be safe and be smart. That’s what I like to do anyway.”
